Apple Addresses Antenna Issue With A Free Case, finally!

If you are experiencing reception issues with your iPhone 4, you are eligible to receive an iPhone 4 Bumper or other select third-party case from Apple at no charge.  Download this free app onto your iPhone 4 and apply for your free Bumper or case. (But you’ll have to wait a minimum of 3 – 5 weeks).

If you purchase an iPhone 4 before September 30, 2010, you may be eligible to receive an iPhone 4 Bumper or a select third-party case from Apple at no charge.

Follow these steps to apply for a Bumper or case.

  1. Download the iPhone 4 Case Program app from the App Store.
  2. Launch the app on your iPhone 4 and sign in using your iTunes Store account.
  3. Apply for your Bumper or case.

For iPhone 4 purchases made on or before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase. To qualify for this program, you must purchase your iPhone 4 by September 30, 2010.

If you bought from Apple

We will give you a full refund for your previously purchased iPhone 4 Bumper, including VAT and shipping fees.

Cash, check, or gift card at an Apple Retail Store

Return to the store with your original receipt by September 30, 2010, to get your refund.

If you bought from
an O2 Store

We’ll reimburse you for the purchase price of your iPhone 4 Bumper. Just fill out this rebate form and mail it to us by September 23, 2010. We’ll send your rebate as soon as we process your claim. Terms and conditions apply.

If you are not fully satisfied with your iPhone 4, you can return your undamaged iPhone 4 to any
Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

LVS Launches Love Recycling Program

Free mobile recycling

Get up to £240 for your old handset, no postage to pay, no commission to pay and help the environment!

Mobile phones should never be thrown in your normal household rubbish as the components in them take a long time to break down, but knowing where to recycle them can be tricky. This is why LVS has decided to help in minimising landfill waste by offering a Mobile Phone Recycling Service. Not only is it free and good for the environment but we’ll also pay you to recycle!

The Love Recycling service is free to use and allows you to recycle your mobile phone quickly and securely, payment is usually received within 7 days of receipt of your mobile phone.

To recycle your mobile phone all you need to do is follow these 3 simple steps.

Step One: Enter your handset details.
Go to the Love Recycling Website. Enter the make and model of your phone and you will see how much you could get back.  Follow the simple 2 minute process and ensure your personal details are entered correctly as this is the address that we will send the returns pack and payment to.

Step Two: Returns Pack.
Remove your sim card and return your handset to us in the envelope sent to you. Please ensure you have supplied the correct make/model for your mobile phone. This can usually be found underneath the battery by taking off the back cover.We can’t pay you for any accessories you send in, but we can recycle them for you free of charge. If your mobile phones are of high value we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.

Step Three: Payment Sent.
We will email you to confirm receipt of your mobile phones. On completion of testing you will receive a second email confirming the value of your mobile phone and you should receive payment with in 7 days.
